Web servers are no longer exposed to anonymous connections due to preceding authentication enforcement. Thus the number of possible attackers is reduced heavily, and the applications are relieved. All authentication processes (LDAP, MSAD, Radius, ACE, RSA, certificates, SQL, DB etc.) are supported and can be used simultaneously for different requests. Additionally, Single-Sign-On is enabled independent of various application technologies. Together with the SSL VPN module the access control functions provide a complete remote-access solution.
