All of visonysAirlock’s software components are supplied from one source, including operating system. Uniform updates are provided for the entire system so that the administrator need neither worry about the operating system nor the individual components. Hardware independency is maintained nonetheless, and visonysAirlock can be installed on standard server hardware (x86 or SPARC-based) without requiring the prior installation of an operating system. If required, the combination of visonysAirlock and hardware may also be procured as hardware appliance.
